finish strongAs 2016 is coming to a close, let’s give this some thought as we begin a new year full of new beginnings.

What comes to mind when you think of these names?

  1. Thomas, in the Bible
  2. Princess Diana
  3. Judas,  in the Bible
  4. Oj Simpson
  5. Miley Cyrus
  6. Billy Graham
  7. Lot’s wife
  8. Bill Cosby
  9. Elvis

We all remember for something as we read each name in the list above. One day, when people say our name something will come to the forefront of people’s minds. How we live our life will be revealed in one word, or maybe one sentence. What it boils down to is how we are doing while we are in the middle of our lives. People will likely forget the day we were born and even lose from memory the day we died. But they will always remember how we affected them while we were in the middle.

Ladies, if you are reading this,  you are in the middle somewhere.

Join me in beginning 2017 differently not only as a speaker, but as a woman, mother, co-worker and most of all as a Christian.

As speakers, God has equipped us with the abilities to speak from a stage. To have an audience and a platform. We want to be remembered well and we want to finish strong. Join me today getting better at the things on this list. As far as New Year’s resolutions go….these are mine……… a nutshell.

  1. Make time for people in my audience.
  2. Encourage don’t discourage the people who hear my voice.
  3. Serve others, but never expect to be served myself.
  4. Never think I am better or elevated above others.
  5. Show compassion and empathy for those God has put in my path

Let’s pray for wisdom when situations happen. Let’s learn to seek Gods guidance so we not only start strong, but we stay strong and ultimately FINISH STRONG.

Matthew 25:21 “His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
