Acts 20:24 “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

balconyHello Ladies, (Tipping my coffee cup at you now.)

Allow me to introduce myself and share my heart for a moment.  Let’s pretend we are  sitting  together on a balcony overlooking the water.

I am excited about being a co-director of the Christian Communicators Conference with Sherry Poundstone and Lori Boruff. I am more than excited, I am overjoyed that God has chosen us to follow in the footsteps of Vonda Skelton and Carolyn Knefely, the founders of CCC.

As a full time women’s speaker, I deal with issues women deal with on a daily basis. Decisions that can trip them up and leave them flat on their face. A past they have lived with for years before discovering the key to freedom. The heartbreaking moments of motherhood and the uphill climb of being a wife.

Whether we voice it or not, we all have tried to talk God out of what he has tried to talk us into. Me included. We tell God how much we can handle. Where we will go. Why we will follow. However, he is simply looking for someone to say “Use me for your glory, Lord.”

For me, a peace filled life began the day I erased the line in the sand and trusted God no matter the outcome. I continually praise God for teaching me to become wiser, stronger, and preparing me with strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

Is God preparing you to be a speaker? Go ahead….trust and obey. For me, it began by letting my faith be bigger than my fear. Only then did I experience the following:

*Peace instead of panic.

*Contentment instead of confusion.

*Christ instead of a crisis.

Get ready!  Life begins to get ridiculously good despite the disappointments that have peppered our paths. When hope enters the picture—joy is invited and joy is life changing.

A ridiculously good life is when we have surrendered to the calling God has put upon our lives. As a co-director, I come to you with a humble heart, a giggle, and a grin. Welcome to the world of Christian speakers—as Carolyn says, “We are loudmouths for the Lord.”
