Holidays are stressed filled times for many of us. Gifts to buy, foods to prepare, programs to attend, gatherings to host, and family to care for are a few things on the top of our long Christmas to-do-list. However, when we remember to pause in Christ’s Uplifting Presence (C.U.P.) then we are renewed with the strength of the Savior.
As speakers when we intentionally use a pause that stretches out moments in silence, the audience automatically leans in to hear what we have to say next. The pause is a simple way to reconnect or awaken the audience to our message.
During these chaotic filled days, as children of the King, we need to apply the power of the pause in our own actions. By being quiet before the King of Glory to lean in to hear the personal message He has for us. The reward of pausing with Him is a joy filled reconnection of strength and peace.
Vonda and I wish you all a Merry Christmas that includes a pause or more with the Son of God wrapped in the gifts from the Holy Trinity. Discover the gifts a new in 2 Corinthians 13:14.
May the grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:14
