Are you the MDAO of your ministry? Being the Must Do All Officer is a challenging job. Jumping from admin to accountant to marketer to speaker takes a lot of know-how and friends willing to share helpful discoveries. I have two friends to thank for making an area in producing visual materials easier and fun! Hopefully, this informational post will be a blessing to you too.
Technology and marketing are two areas of troublesome frustration for me. However, Sherry Boykin (CCC 2012) told Cynthia Owens (CCC 2013) and me about PicMonkey for creating marketing materials. Cynthia tried it and liked it. Then she pushed me to try it. Like a cat being held over a swimming pool, I didn’t want to even get my toe wet. But a true friend knows when a submersion would be beneficial.
The first experience was a quick drop-in and jump-out! Nevertheless, I was intrigued with the first exposure. Then I would drop myself into www.picmonkey.com . The PicMonkey tutorials turned me from a scaredy cat to a Labrador retriever! ( http://www.picmonkey.com/blog/category/tutorials/ )
Because of my two friends’ willingness to share their discovery of a site that is user-friendly, I’ve gone from frustration to having fun creating marketing materials with ease. Thanks Sherry and Cynthia for sharing your marketing helper with me.
If you are the MDAO (Must Do All Officer) of your ministry like me, you might discover too that PicMonkey makes a great Chief Creative Officer?
I won’t push you, but I will ask, “Do you want to take your visual communication tools to the next level?” If you do want a new business look then drop in where photo editing and free fonts are fun.
