purpose board

No matter the purpose, the why, or the outcome, it’s the going with Christ that counts.

All things in life are about the walk with the Shepherd. Finally, I got it.

As Vonda and I have been busy putting together the final preparations for the upcoming Christian Communicators (CC) conference, there have been stumbling blocks, chaos and flaming arrows thrown our way. After my morning devotion recently these words pour out from my heart and I wanted to share with you the encouragement they gave me.

Whatever the goal or desired outcome,

Whatever the battle and the victory to be won,

Whatever the chaos around us;

It’s the process of growing through it all while staying calm at God’s side.

To do so shows where our victory is,

Where our peace is,

Where our faith is.

It’s all at the place of waking resting with God in all things, at all times.

The process is going triumphant with God,

Seeing Him take us across finish lines,

Seeing Him win losing battles,

Feeling peace while seeing the chaos all around.

Therefore for me, I choose to open my eyes,

My heart to see God walk on the turbulent waves of my world,

Hold me up in peace and calmness with Him

Keeping me at His side.

He is above all.

He is winner of all.

He and His people triumph in the process of life together.

Dear faithful CC readers, you are receiving this post as the August 2012 Christian Communicator begins. Will you pray that God will be glorified during the process of educating, validating and launching the women the Lord has called to grow their speaking ministries. Prayers are the hedges that protect the Lord’s flock.

This week at the conference, the ladies will be creating their own purpose boards to help them communicate clearly what is the purpose of their ministry and who will benefit from it. However, the added value they will take away will be that it is the process in being with Christ in fulfilling the purpose that triumphs over all.

Uplifting blessings,

Carolyn
