A Christian speaker is one who is captivated by Jesus Christ and becomes an agent of change with the Gospel message, especially during Christmas. Remember, before a sound comes out of our mouths, our color choices in clothing speaks for us with a perception message within the viewer’s mind.

By choosing bright warm colors in our attire, we can affect the moods and attitudes in our audiences during any season. Scientific research has proven that bright red, yellow, and orange attire demands a double take…no first glances when one wears these colors. Pick a brilliant color for confirmed perceptions of energy, enthusiasm, and confidence.

  • Red is a distinctive fashion statement of strength, vitality, and life.
  • Yellow is an uplifting color of joy, hope, and alertness.
  • Orange is a flamboyant color portraying optimism, warmth, and vibrancy.

“There’s a secret to knowing what to wear and when to wear it so that you can maximize any opportunity,” writes David Zyla in The Color of Style.

Knowledge of color is an important key in harmonizing our wardrobes with our messages. This week, I will be the speaker at a Christmas Gathering tea. As I practice the presentation, I also plan my wardrobe.

To fit in with the season and show vitality before I speak red will be my basic color choice. The goal is to show strength while delivering the message of the Giver, the Gift, and the receiver.

What change-worthy gift do you want to give this year? What color will it be wrapped in?
