The Power of 5 P’s

“Surely I am with you always.”  Matthew 28:20

The promise of Christ’s presence brings power to our presentations.

For me, to step before any audience without prior prayer is to go before them without being fully dressed.

The U.S.A. Army has 5 P’s they live by:

  • “Prior preparation prevents poor performance.”

This is a true and profound statement for survival on a battlefield.

However, as a speaker I have my own 5 P’s that I live by:

  • “Prior prayer produces peak performance.”

Prayer is an outcome-changer. Prayer dresses us in power and grace, covering both our audiences and ourselves.

Pray on,
Carolyn
